Excel Intermediate

Overview

This one-day course is appropriate if you have used Excel before and are reasonably confident with Excel basics such as simple formula creation, cell formatting, naming of cells, and saving and printing of workbooks.

Audience Profile

It is assumed attendees have good general computing skills, are familiar with the Windows environment and have attended an introductory course in Excel or have equivalent experience.

Course Completion

At the completion of the course you should be familiar with a number of techniques that enable the creation of more sophisticated workbooks. You should be able to create a protected workbook that incorporates embedded charts and use a range of data list management tools.

You will also be able to create well documented and consistently formatted workbooks and automate simple tasks.
